The new plant will produce high-quality liquefied biomethane (bioLNG) from agricultural and organic household waste.

When operational, the Wärtsilä offering will be capable of producing 25 tonnes of bioLNG per day by upgrading biogas to high-quality biomethane aka renewable natural gas (RNG) before it is liquefied at minus 160 °C.

In addition to the biogas upgrading and liquefaction systems, the Wärtsilä Gas Solutions scope of supply includes a 200 m³ storage tank and an export and filling station.
